Reneé McNutt, CPA
Renee’ received a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington’s Cameron School of Business. While attending UNCW, Renee’ began working for a local CPA firm earning her way through the ranks from receptionist to payroll and bookkeeping specialist to staff accountant and tax preparer. In October 2007, Renee’ was hired as a staff accountant with Fisher & Company, CPAs. During her employment, she successfully completed the CPA exam and earned her final post-graduate credits for licensure. In 2011, Fisher and Company, CPA’s was converted to Knott & McNutt, CPAs, PLLC and Renee’ was introduced as partner.
In March of 2015 Renee’ decided to branch out on her own. She works directly with her clients to determine and implement the most effective tax strategies. Her experience includes individual, business, and trust income tax planning, preparation, research, and consulting as well as general business consulting, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation support. Renee’ also provides operational assistance to business clients regarding bookkeeping, payroll operations, and other reporting requirements. Renee is also a member of The North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Her license number is 35485.
